The staff. The bed. The deal.
The bath was not cleaned sufficently. Frustrating tv remote control which intermittently would refuse to funtion. The leaking small coffee maker. Inabiliy to completely close curtain which allowed in too much light at night.
Bed was comfortable, it was quiet.
We stayed 2 nights, and room was not was not cleaned the whole of the 2nd day. We returned to the room about 3:30 PM to take part in a conference call, and housekeeping finally showed up after I called the desk. As we were busy with the call, we settled for clean towels as housekeeping might not be around when we completed our call.
This hotel is a nightmare, nothing good about it.
Management could have tact and listen to guests about all the problems in this hotel; it is filthy in the rooms especially the furniture and carpet; a manager actually attacked us in the lobby in his wild rage when we complained after several days of abuse by low-class staff who work in the breakfast room. We called 911 but the police sided with the hotel because the staff bond together and lie about what is going on there. Staff seem to enjoy embarrassing guests by saying things to people like they did to a man in front of us at breakfast, "What are you doing back in here? You were here for breakfast earlier." He was there to see his family that came in after he had left; they are so low class and primitive acting it is actually dangerous because of how they manipulate cops that will threaten to arrest you if you don't take the abuse and actual assaultive crazy dangerous acting management. Also, the rooms stink very badly from cigarettes and probably drug smokers. Someone was murdered there in the past by a staff member, right where the manager attacked me in front of my wife; the murder was before it became Ramada Hotel, when it was still Holiday Inn. Crazy place to try to stay in safety, especially if you are not prepared to be treated horribly by some staff who think they are supposed to irritate guests as part of their job description. Easily the worst hotel we have ever stayed in, and we have stayed in many hotels all over the world including all over the US and northern California in particular.
Fluffy pillows, nice blanket, powerful air conditioner.
chili or sauce stains on carpet and back of desk chair. lingering cigarette smell in non smoking room. Smaller than pictured.
Pool wasn't in service. Was going to change hotels but was told I pre-paid. I did not. Television was not working. Air ran all night but never really cooled the room. Trash in hallway at check in and still at check out
Room was quiet, towels soft, good shampoo and lotion.
The pool needed cleaning and was closed one day.
The exercise room was poor. Almost all machines old and outdated didn't work properly.
Service was poor
My room wasn't ready and it was after stated check-in time. Other guests were also upset.
Great staff (Monique and Nancy at front desk; Linnese in restaurant). Super clean and comfie rooms. AC was perfect - never had to adjust (very rare in hotels). Pool and business center stocked and clean. Restaurant had good & affordable choices. Convenient location. Totally pleased with stay!
Our stay was perfect. I was visiting my adult daughter who attends Chico State and we will definitely stay at this hotel again. Exceeded my expectations.
Needs better cooling system in the room, it was a bit muggy the entire time.
Since several staff including some managers were literally dangerous and assaultive we did not like anything, it is a filthy ran down hotel.
Clean the filth out of the carpets in the rooms and from the furniture in the rooms, or replace them as they are so worn out. The staff varied from okay to outright psychotic morons, including a manager who attacked us and caused us to call the police after we got tired of the horrible abuse we and other guests got at breakfast over a period of several days. The entire place is ran like something you would see in a bad prison movie with a few very low class staff that ruin any chance that your stay could be acceptable much less enjoyable. There was a murder outside the front door years ago there, done by a hotel staff member or guard they had working there, and it was very unsettling when things got so bad that we had to complain about the bad treatment and filth including the stench from the air conditioner in our room from smokers standing outside our room down below our upstairs window... a manager who is a very small man attacked me in front of my wife and other guests and demanded that I go out the front door to fight him right in the same place the murder by their staff was done. Really psychotic people all over the place that get under your skin if you stay more than two or three days, which we did because of a disaster that occurred at our home. Police took their side because they are so good at covering up the problem of filth, worn out rooms, and charging way too much after false advertising pictures on the internet that make it look like a nice place. Horrible place!
TV remote did not work. Elevator slow and very noisy and next to my room.
No breakfast Buffett
Wish they offered free breakfast .
